Compliance, product, and AI — built from the inside out

The Clear Line from Regulation to Relief

I'm Kris Gracia. I've spent a decade in regulated cannabis — building compliance systems, shipping product in shifting regulatory environments, and wiring AI into the workflows that keep operators on the right side of enforcement.

What I Do

I work at the intersection of regulation, technology, and operations — where the rules are ambiguous, the stakes are real, and the right system design makes or breaks a business.

🧠

RegMatrix

RegMatrix is the unified compliance intelligence layer — across states, statutes, and enforcement behavior — built for operators who need more than a rulebook.

The Operator

I've been in regulated cannabis since before most states had a rulebook. Here's how that shaped what I build today.

2017

Entering Cannabis

Started at The Green Solution on March 10th, 2017 — hired on the spot a couple of days after being fired from the Rio Grande in downtown Denver. 50,000+ sq. ft. indoor grow. That floor is where I cut my teeth and where I first met Mina — my future boss.

2017–2019

Turn & Churn, Proving Mettle

Bounced through The Lab/The Clinic, TGS Global, and Colfax Pot Shop — packaging, asset protection, warehouse distribution, budtending. Promoted to supervisor at TGS. The floor taught me what compliance looks like when it actually matters.

2020

The World Paused. Cannabis Didn't.

Left TGS two weeks before COVID. Worked dispensary through the call reversal and the line snaking two city blocks. Essential means staying clean, compliant, and open when everyone else is closed.

2021–2023

The October Incident & Back to the Floor

October 28th: chaos clarified the mission. Jesse pulled me in at Kaya. Then Spark, then The Stone. LA, Atlanta, P. The breakup cleared the last obstacle.

2024–Present

What Got Built

Veridion, RegMatrix, The Clear Line, the Five Engines. EIN acquired 11/11. Building guardrailed AI agents and compliance architecture — for every operator who ever felt like the rules were written by someone who never worked a closing shift.

Looking in the Margins

Being ostracized, looked over, and disregarded wasn't a setback — it was an education. The edge is where the blueprints get tested.

That perspective became the advantage. While others focused on the center, I studied the penumbra — the gray areas where regulations meet reality, where enforcement discretion determines outcomes, and where understanding the full picture makes all the difference.
